Baby trained to give the evil eye

Hey. Hope that everyone out there is having a wonderful holiday week. Am guessing a lot of you ate too much, but still wish there was one more box of Turtles under the tree (OK, maybe that's just me).
I'm still in Halifax and sad to say that it's good to get back to my computer to catch up on my surfing (and surprisingly worthwhile news about the Hilton family). On Boxing Day, my brother (Jeff) and I dragged my parents over to the computer to watch some classic Internet videos (e.g. dramatic chipmunk, etc). The newest on our "favourites" list is posted above - Baby trained to give the evil eye.
Jeff and his wife are pregnant with twins, due in February, so if they can teach the girls to give the evil eye I will be uploading it to YouTube asap (they will be like the Double Mint twins). I promise.
Happy New Year! Good luck with all your resolutions (this is a poor "role model" of good Jan. 1st ideas!).

Merry Christmas!
Our holidays were great, and it sounds like you had a great time! I too am pleased with the Hilton announcement - that's what should be done with the majority of a families wealth. How else does a family continue to bread a line of successful people? Look what happened to Paris when everything was handed to her.
Perhaps now she'll have to settle down and figure out how to make a living with her name!

Oh, Jeff is pregnant? That's gonna hurt...
Check out the end of the reuters article on the Hiltons...do you really think they meant to include the writer's phone number? looks like a bad copy and paste job.

Mmmm. Turrrrrrtles... Best thing about Boxing week (since when did it become a "week") sales - cheap Turtles chocolates are to be had everywhere!

Happy New Year, Amber!
You mentioned Turtles! I haven't had Turtles in years. I always bought them for my mother (and myself) when we lived in Chicago from a Fannie May store.
The last time I had Turtles was in September 2003 when I spent a week in Chicago. I bought a dozen Turtles at a Fannie May store in La Grange. When I did, the saleslady told me their store was going to close the following Friday, as were all Fannie May stores!
How awful! How sad!
What drove them out of business? According to a story in the Chicago Tribune that week, the premium chocolates, like Godiva's, were the culprit! Those chocolates sold for far more than Fannie May chocolates, which were expensive in the first place. But young, successful people preferred the more expensive chocolates to Fannie May.
I've always found that story hard to believe. What do you think?
The good news is that you can buy Fannie May candy online:

So if you or anyone else (me!!!) is craving Turtles, order some!
Thank God for the Internet!
